Beyond Healing Trauma-Boudoir and Life Coaching Can Help You Reclaim Joy-NC Boudoir

You’re allowed to feel good again.

Section 4 of the Love You Louder journal is about Claiming Joy, and yes, I chose that word on purpose. Too many women don’t just want joy... they’re waiting for someone to give them permission to have it.

And that’s literally not how joy works.

Joy isn’t something you have to earn through perfection or productivity. It’s not even a reward. It’s a radical act of resistance. In a world that constantly tries to steal your light, joy becomes a reclamation.

My bby girl Alex turned 30 this month!

You Are Not Here to Just Survive

Let me say it louder for the people in the back: you are not just here to pay bills and go to work. Your story deserves more than survival. It deserves delight.

So many women I work with—whether they’re coaching clients or boudoir babes—come in stuck in survival mode. They’ve been strong for so long that they’ve forgotten what it feels like to just… enjoy.

And when I ask them what brings them joy? They freeze.

So let’s unfreeze. Let’s start remembering. Let’s build a Joy Toolkit.

Your Joy Toolkit Starts Small (But Loud)

In the journal, we create a “Mini Joy Scavenger Hunt” which is little things that make you smile, no matter how small or silly.

Think:

  • The smell of your favorite candle

  • A bomb playlist (check out the LYL Playlist on Spotify) on your morning walk

  • Dancing while cooking

  • Eating food without feeling the need to explaining it

  • Wearing clothing just because it makes your ass look amazing

These aren’t luxuries. These are lifelines.

Joy is fuel.

And if you’re ready to romanticize your life like the main character you are, Section 4 is your cue the soundtrack and take the scenic route.

Main Character Energy Is a Muscle, so Use It

The journal asks you:
📝 What makes you feel joyful in your body? In your space? In your rituals?

If you don’t know yet, that’s okay. But it’s time to start noticing.

Joy doesn’t have to be grand or expensive. It’s a text from your best friend. A warm bath. Twerking in the mirror (my personal favorite). And yes, a boudoir session where you laugh, have a good ass time, and feel like the bad bitch you are.

Joy is medicine. And it’s yours.
