Boudoir Requires Radical Acceptance - NOT Perfection
For a boudoir experience that celebrates your truth radical self-acceptance is the real foundation of it all.
Section 2 of the Love You Louder journal is dedicated to this exact truth: you cannot fake love for yourself. You can only meet yourself where you are, and choose not to flinch when you do.
Sounds cute in theory. In practice? It’s raw as hell.
Because radical acceptance means looking at the parts of yourself you’ve been trying to ignore and saying, “Yep. That’s me too.”
Not Just pretty words
Let’s be real: a lot of self-love content is just curated soft lighting and vague affirmations. But “radical” self-love requires getting to the root. This isn’t about putting a filter on your insecurities. It’s about digging deep and understanding where they came from.
In Section 2, we take those critical inner voices, the ones that say “you’re too much,” “not enough,” “why can’t you just” and trace them back to their source. Because until you name that origin, it’ll keep writing the story for you.
The journal guides you through a three-column exercise:
The Critique
The Source
The Reframe
Here’s an example:
Critique: “You always screw things up.”
Source: My mom used to say that when she was overwhelmed.
Reframe: “I make mistakes, but I always learn and keep going.”
This is the work. This is how we change the script.
You Are Not Your Shame
I can’t tell you how many women have stepped into my studio whispering apologies for their stretch marks, their scars, their softness. I want to scream: “Girl, you don’t have to apologize for existing!!”
Your softness is not shameful. Your story isn’t too heavy. And your body? It’s the home you’ve always had. It’s time to stop treating it like an enemy.
Radical acceptance is letting your full self be seen, without shrinking down or sugarcoating your truth.
That’s why this journal section is so damn necessary. It holds space for you to be messy, whole, unfinished, and enough.
You are allowed to be loved as you are
The culture has lied to us for decades. It told us we had to be smaller, quieter, more “palatable” to earn love. But the truth? Love doesn’t require perfection. It requires presence. It requires truth.
Boudoir and life coaching should be safe spaces where you don’t have to perform. That’s what Love You Louder is about, being fully, radically, unapologetically you.
Here is one of the journal prompts from Section 2:
What have I been hiding out of shame that’s actually deserving of compassion?
Say it louder.
And then say it again without flinching.
