You’re Not Asking for too much, You’re Asking the wrong…- NC Boudoir Photography

Muthaaa Fuckaaa! I love those amazing lyrics from “To Me”- by Alina Baraz. When you realize that not everyone is for you, your heart can begin to confidently open itself to others, without fear of getting hurt! You’re Not Too Much, You’re Just Not for Everyone (and That’s Okay). Let’s get this out of the way: If anyone has ever called you “too much,” they were probably just too small for your kind of magic. And honestly? That’s a them problem.

Whether it’s you laugh too loud, love too hard, let your boobs free in a white tee in the middle of a Tuesday, or dare to post sexy ass selfies because you’re finally feeling yourself, there’s ALWAYS going to be someone who has something to say. And guess what? Who gives a fuck what they think?! And that definitely doesn’t mean you need to shrink to fit their idea of who you should be.

We live in a world that constantly tells women to tone it down. To not be too opinionated, too curvy, too skinny, too confident, too ambitious, too sexual, too visible. But BAYBEEEE, you were not made to be small. You were made to take up space. Gloriously, unapologetically, fully.

And that’s something I’ve seen over and over again in my work as a boudoir photographer here in North Carolina.

I photograph women from all walks of life, including mamas, CEOs, nurses, doctors, divorcees, newlyweds, retirees, military baddies, and everyone in between. And what do so many of them have in common? They come in my studio a little nervous… carrying the weight of other people’s opinions, of what they “should” be. But, let me tell you, by the end of their session, something switches on. They see themselves. Not the filtered version, but the real them. For the first time in a long time, they realize: I am not too much. I’m just enough. And I’m damn beautiful, too.

Let me be the one to remind you:

You’re allowed to be bold. You’re allowed to take selfies in lingerie. You’re allowed to cry when you feel deeply. You’re allowed to have boundaries and standards and joy. These are all the things that make you, YOU.

And no, not everyone is going to get it. And thats okay, because you’re not for everyone. Let them hate. The people who matter? They’re obsessed with the real you.

The truth is, being “too much” is often just means you feel things on a deeper level. And that’s powerful.

If you’re ready to reclaim all those parts of yourself, yes, even the messy, emotional, sensual, wild parts, my NC boudoir studio is ready for you. As you are: too much and too magical to keep hiding.

If you want to co sign yourself and have a life changing experience, reach out to me! I’d love to hear from you!
