Maternity boudoir is one of my all time favorites. Along the lines, someone decided that once you become a mother its all over. No more fun, no more flirty, and no more sexy. Maternity boudoir takes that idea and throws it right in the face of society like a big messy pie! Mommies are sexy, especially pregnant ones! I mean, how do you think these babies got here?
This new mom not only rocked her bump but she rocked this session! We did an at home session for her in Durham NC and played with her concept of having the focus be in the background!
She really asked me to step out of my comfort zone and make her vision come to life and I do believe we did just that! The drama created by having an object that is not really important in the foreground and having her be the focus in the background is mind-blowingly beautiful! Your eye really goes directly to her!
This session was such a beautiful and modern way to showcase her pregnancy! I am always open to ideas outside of my usual boudoir sessions and I love when clients approach me with new ideas!
